We came in with loose steering. I asked them to replace the steering rack bushings on my lightly lifted 2000 tacoma. No big deal. They told me the lower A-arm bushings looked worn, it sounded believable so I said sure, replace those too. I got the car back, but it was so windy I didn't notice. Finally I realized the car was pulling right, badly. Next shop I took it to said the alignment was way off, it looked like they didn't actually DO the alignment. Long story, but I ended up at another shop shortly after still trying to debug a pull to the right under braking. It looks like they replaced some washers, but not the lower A-arm bushings, despite charging me $1000 to do it. This shop says in all their years working repair they'd never seen anything like it. The new shop is now doing that job again. Given that the truck was fine before I brought it in (no issues under braking) I now suspect that the rack was also broken by R&L while replacing the rack bushings (which I think they did actually replace). It's an extremely unusual failure, and the problem started when they did this work. Long story short... they charged me for work they didn't do, or did so wrong it's completely stumped a better shop... and it's likely that they broke other parts in the process. What I needed done should've cost ~$1500, but I've spent $5000 now at various shops cleaning up the mess and debugging the stuff this shop screwed up.... DO NOT GO HERE.
