Tavian, it been delightful engaging with you! Working with a vehicle that has an alcohol interlock is always an exciting challenge - Who knew safety could be so inconvenient? Sadly, we cannot tamper with your alcohol interlock as requested. Laws and ethics really know how to ruin a good time! I also had quite a laugh at you choice of *colorful* language in your messages to our team. Its always refreshing to see such creativity! very kind employees, but i will not go here for major diagnoses/repairs again. was told i blew a head gasket and needed an entire engine replacement. got a second opinion at RPM, and it turns out the coolant tube was unplugged the entire time. the gasket was not blown. saved me thousands. i dont know how R&L could have overlooked it when the tube is easy to see behind the engine. im not car-savvy so im disappointed. i took a different car here previously and their quote on the transmission repair lead us to crush the car. now im second guessing if they overdiagnosed us and we trashed the car for nothing. lesson learned. to be fair, after telling me to replace the engine, they told me that they did not do gasket/engine work and recommended that i go to RPM. they also discounted me on the 129$ diagnoses price because i was crying my eyes out about the gasket news which i appreciate. but they could have saved me a lot of emotional stress and TIME if they saw the tube was simply disconnected and was an easy fix. i could have /actually/ blown the gasket after since they didnt check the coolant tube itself. nice people but they lost my trust
